-
- Now that we have finished with that silliness,
-
- 2. How it was made:
- -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
- The original images were generated using Turbo Silver, a commercial
- ray-tracing program from Impulse Inc, which has a good object editor
- and very rapid image generation time. There are 149 images, totalling
- 2667803 bytes. The images took about 500-600 hours of computing time on
- standard 68000 based Amigas. (Anybody want to send me a 68020 board to
- evaluate?) The images were tweaked with PrismPlus (Impulse Inc) and
- Digi-Paint (New-Tek). After compression and assembly with Byte-by-Byte's
- public domain sequencer, MOVIE, the finished animation file is 276820 bytes
- long, which will run easily in a 512K Amiga.
-
- 3. How to view it:
- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
- To play it from a CLI:
- - Put Stamp_Collector, and a copy of MOVIE (version 1.2 or higher) in
- the same directory or on the same disk
- - CD to that disk or directory
- - Set the STACK to 16000
- - Type
- 1> Movie Stamp_Collector
-
- To play it from Workbench:
- - Put Stamp_Collector, Stamp_Collector.info, and a copy of MOVIE
- (version 1.2 or higher) on the same disk
- - Open the disk icon, and double-click the Stamp Collector icon.
-
-
- -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- I hope you enjoy Stamp Collector. If you do, you can pay me back by
- coming up with some interesting animation and graphics of your own and
- distibuting them.
- Note that there is also an interlaced version of Stamp Collector
- available, which requires an Amiga with more than 512K of memory.
