  7.    HAND is a HAM animation created with Impulse's SILVER package.
  8. This was just a test to see how my HAND was coming along.  If you
  9. notice the opeing title you will see 'BETA 1'.  The reason for this
  10. is that it is by no means a finished animation....neither in content
  11. nor in quality of look.  SILVER is capable of doing MUCH better
  12. work.  As I have stated, this is just a test.  I uploaded it in case
  13. anyone is interested in purchasing SILVER.  HAND is a weak animation,
  14. it merely scratches the surface of SILVER's abilities.

  16.    For reference, HAND is composed of 75 objects all of which are
  17. reflective (about 5% reflectivity).  Each finger can be articulated
  18. as in a human hand.  The wrist, elbow, and shoulder can also be
  19. articulated as in real life.

  21.    In the animation The Wrist Rotates, The wrist droops, the elbow
  22. contracts, and the elbow rotates.  All these contortions are done
  23. simultaneously.  Towards the end the index finger extends as well.

  25.    If you have any comments, ideas, thoughts, please feel free to send
  26. me them via EasyPlex [ 73230,567 ].  I have a script working in my mind
  27. for a short video animation already, but your ideas are welcomed.

  30.    I chose to settle for less in order to test this thing.

  33. OPERATION:
  34.  
  35.    In the ARC file there will be 23 files excluding this one:
  36.  
  37.        ANIM.1 - ANIM.20  Are the compressed frames for the animation
  38.  
  39.        script            Is the script file for the animation.
  40.  
  41.        PlayIMP           Is the program used to view the animation.
  42.                          This is the "PLAYER" program found on the
  43.                          SILVER disk.  I tagged an identifier onto it
  44.                          to distinguish it from the other ones.
  45.  
  46.        execute.me        File to set up the HAND directory.
  47.                          Execute this file to set up disk.

  50. PLAYER:

  52.   To use, simply type:  PlayIMP <DIR>

  54.   Where DIR is the directory containing the Anim files.

  57.   Once the animation begins, the speed can be changed by pressing the F-keys.

  61.    Fast      Slow

  63.      +    -- Step up Speed a 'tad'
