- The file ovlt.init is a script file you can edit. If you call
- it vlt.init, rather than ovlt.init, and if you store it either in s: or
- in the current directory, it will be executed just after the binary
- file VTPrefs.dat is read in. VTPrefs.dat is the file that is created
- when you issue the Save Configuration command from the first VLT menu.
- It contains essentially (but not necessarily) the same information as
- vlt.init, but once you have things set up using vlt.init, use
- VTPrefs.dat because it is faster.
- TekPrefs.dat is a binary file that contains the configuration of the
- Tektronix (tm) part of the terminal emulator. It is created using the
- Save gadget from the Tektronix Preferences requester.
- These files should be stored in s:. See manual for details.
