  6.    Boy, what a departure.  I've never done anything in this style before and
  7. may never again!  It's frustrating to not have clean lines and more rigid
  8. shapes.  It's more like an impressionist type painting.  Maybe something that
  9. should be done in oils on canvas.  I have to say that I'm surprised with the
  10. outcome of this one.  (I've been told to quit being the critic, just the
  11. artist).
  12.    The background image was done with DPaint, including the bricks, bag and
  13. bottle.  The hand is mine, digitized with Digi-View and colorized in DPaint.
  14. I did that to get a natural pose. (Read as CHEATED).  The postcard was done as
  15. a full interlace image in DPaint then sized down and put in perspective. 
  16. Because of the limited 32 color palette, I later grabbed the postcard as a
  17. brush and imported it into Photon Paint and used the remap feature to put it
  18. back into it's correct colors.  I did final touch-ups in Photon Paint.
  19.    As I said before, this is a rarity in style for me and I don't know if I'll
  20. ever do anything like it again.  If response is good, maybe.
