- Mach - Mouse Accelerator with Hotkey.
-
- The accelerator part is similar to QuickMouse from Gizmoz...BUT, it
- will accept an argument, a number 0-9, which sets its speed (only
- speeds 1-4 are very usable). 1 is the default, 0 is no acceleration.
-
- The hotkeys are:
- Left or Right-Alternate F1 - F10.
- Left-Alternate-Ctl-F1 to uninstall.
-
- They are defined in the command line following the accelerator
- argument. Definitions with embedded spaces should use "".
-
- Examples:
-
- run mach 2 df0: df1: dir copy "" "run sys:system/rollodex"
- this maps
- df0: to f1
- df1: to f1
- dir to f3
- copy to f4
- nothing to f5
- run sys:system/rollodex to f6
-
- run mach 3 "Joe Foo" "512 West 3rd St." "The Trees, ID 83703"
- this maps
- Joe Foo to f1
- 512 etc. to f2
- The Trees etc. to f3
-
- Note that anything after a semicolon is treated as a comment.
- When you reach the end of the line, don't hit return and you can
- continue mapping up to 255 characters (including the "run mach 2").
- You can also put this in your startup-sequence. (Of course you can't
- endcli if you do this (unless you use runback)). Sorry, no arguments
- from the icon...yet.
-
- If you do "stack 2000" before you start Mach, it will use only 10k.
- Be sure to reset your stack to 4000 or higher after this.
- To keep this program small, there are no messages, no prompts, no
- nothing. If, however, for any reason it fails to run (e.g. no free
- signals, no input.device??) it will use a return code of 10 or
- higher.
