- ReadMe: 04 Feb 87
- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

- TCWD The TCWD program
- TCWD.info The TCWD icon
- TCWD.data A sample TCWD data file
- TCWD.manual The TCWD instruction manual
- TCCT The TCCT program
- TCCT.info The TCCT icon
- TCCT_Data A sample TCCT data file

- ReadMe What you are looking at now
- ExecuteMe Execute this to rename the EDLP data file icon
- Description A brief description of all this
- BCS.Catalog A very brief catalog of professional video products
- BCS.PR A press release from BCS
-
- "EDLP_List.info" is too long of a file name for ARC, so I shortened it
- to "EDLP_List.i". Just type EXECUTE EXECUTEME from the CLI prompt to
- rename it correctly. You can then DELETE EXECUTEME, as well as the
- ".arc" file to save disk space.
-
- All of the demos will work on either Workbench 1.1 or 1.2.
-
- EDLP, TCWD and TCCT are all demo programs, and are crippled in various
- ways.
- EDLP does not allow you to Save or Xfer data. If you attempt it, you
- will be advised that the function does not operate. In addition, you can
- not scroll past event number 29. If you do, you will get another message,
- and the cursor will jump back to event number one. Finally, after about
- 800 keystrokes, the EDLP will reset, which erases all of your work. Sorry
- about that, but the program is extremely useful, and I would much rather
- you pay for it! <grin>
- TCWD resets after no more than three minutes. It will read time code
- only with the BCS Time Code Reader Interface, which you probably do not
- have. The demo is entertaining nonetheless.
- TCCT only records 18 errors, and also resets after about three minutes.
- TCCT is only entertaining with the reader interface, but at least you can
- get an idea of what it is supposed to do.
- All three programs were written completely in assembly language, so they
- are very fast and very protected. The commercial versions are of course in
- no way copy-protected (except by copyright laws and basic morality).
-
- The complete instruction manual for each is included. The instruction
- manuals can be read using a text processor, but were designed to be printed
- directly to your printer. You can type COPY EDLP.MANUAL TO PRT: to obtain
- a printout. Because I don't know what kind of printer you have, I had to
- strip off all of the boldface, underlining, superscript, etc., which makes
- the instruction manual somewhat less readable. If you want the latest
- demo and printed manual, send me $20. Feel free to send me $20 even if
- you don't.
-
- Shipping date for the commercial version is Any Day Now. Contact Jeff
- Bruette at Prism (818) 906-9977 for ordering information. Dealer inquiries
- are invited.
-
- If you have any technical questions, or comments and suggestions
- concerning these programs, please contact me on CompuServe [73267,3361],

- questions, comments, announcements and updates. Let me know if you wish
- to be advised of its commencement.
