  12. * Full screen editor.
  13.    Just point to the column or character you want to change and press the
  14.    mouse button.  The cursor will jump to that spot.  Or use the arrow
  15.    keys to move the cursor around on the screen.  Pressing RETURN will
  16.    cause the cursor to jump to the next column.  Use the sliding gadget
  17.    to scroll through the list.  Press control-P to grab the character from
  18.    the previous event.
  19. * On-screen prompting for any cursor position.
  20.    No matter where you are in the list, instructions will appear at the
  21.    top of the screen telling you what the program is waiting to see.  If
  22.    you enter a non-valid character, a red error message will also appear
  23.    at the top of the screen, telling you what you did wrong.
  24. * Automatic column formatting.
  25.    Any entries in the TRACK or TYPE column are automatically capitalized.
  26.    The TRACK column is automatically cleaned, so that if you enter a B
  27.    (for both), V/A will appear there instead.  Also, when entering the
  28.    source in and out times, the cursor will skip over the separators
  29.    (colons).
  30. * Easy error recovery.
  31.    If you make a mistake, just press the ESC key to recover the line you
  32.    are working on.
  33. * Split edits in color.
  34.    Video only edits are pink, audio only edits are slightly green.  This
  35.    makes it very easy to work with split edits.
  36. * Comments in color.
  37.    Each event may have a comment of up to 72 characters.  The comment is
  38.    displayed slightly blue to make the list easier to read.
  39. * Automatic Pull-up or Ripple on every change.
  40.    Whenever you make any change, the entire list is rippled to give the
  41.    correct record in and out times.  Any errors caused by mismatched
  42.    split edits are flagged.
  43. * Automatic event numbering.
  44.    As you cut and paste, the events are automatically renumbered.
  45. * Selectable drop or non-drop frame modes.
  46. * Selectable record skip frame mode.
  47.    Some editors require the record in time of one event to be one frame
  48.    greater than the record out of the previous event.  Others require
  49.    them to be the same.  EDLP gives you the choice.
  50. * Settings saved with data.
  51. * Delete, insert, and copy events.
  52. * Capacity of 300 lines of data (including comments).
