  25.               The ultimate in printing utilities,  SUPER  PRINT  has
  26.               just   about  any  printing  feature  which  could  be
  27.               desired.  SUPER PRINT will print files  with  embedded
  28.               control   characters,   will  slash  zeros,  add  line
  29.               numbers, add left margin space for  three-hole  paper,
  30.               page  number, print file time and date in heading, and
  31.               other stuff.  Recent  additions  include  page  length
  32.               setting,  top and bottom margins, wild card filenames,
  33.               prompted   printing,   printer   configuration   file,
  34.               adjustable tab  expansion, and more!  This is also one
  35.               of the few printing utilties which may be  the  target
  36.               of piped data from another program.  Now, version 2.70
  37.               includes  even  more enhancements, including character
  38.               translation capabilities.  The most software  you  can

  42.               This  is  a  text  formatting  program similar to UNIX
  43.               nroff, except oriented to the PC user.  Virtually  any
  44.               printer  can be supported with several different fonts
  45.               or ribbon options.  This program also has file merging
  46.               features for creating form letters merged with address
  47.               lists, or other such uses.

  72.               *****   STEVE'S TURBO-C LIBRARY   *****
  73.               This expansion library for Borland's Turbo-C has  over
  74.               130 functions and growing.  Although Version 1.5 of TC
  75.               contains  direct  video  access, "Steve's Library" was
  76.               the FIRST to contain a full library  of  direct  video
  77.               text functions for this compiler.  Many users say that
  78.               my  functions  are  even better and easier to use than
  79.               Borland's.  The library includes complete source  code
  80.               in  C and assembler, plus several useful header files.
  81.               Included are printer BIOS service  routines  for  fast
  82.               printer  access,  and  async communications functions,
  83.               directly accessing the serial ports  for  fast  access
  84.               without buffering.  Up to 9600 baud is possible!
  85.               Need to accept wildcard filenames on the command line?
  86.               My  exparg()  function  re-arranges (argc, argv) to an
  87.               expanded array with all wildcards expanded to matching
  88.               filenames.
  89.               An installable interrupt handler for  the  18.2  Hertz
  90.               interrupt   is   included  so  that  simple  real-time
  91.               applications can be  programmed  which  will  function
  92.               properly regardless of the type of system in use.
  93.               Functions  for  file  opening  from PATH and specified
  94.               environment variables make opening a file anywhere  in
  95.               the environment totally transparent to the programmer.
  96.               And  now,  support  is  also  included  for the switch
  97.               inputs on the game port!   This  4-bit  port  is  very
  98.               handy  for reading switches or other logic levels from
  99.               any outside device.
  100.               Full documentation suitable for printing  and  placing
  101.               in  a  binder  is  provided,  along  with a utility to
  102.               automate the printing.

  104.               six utilites with  source  code  are  included.    The

  117.               This  expansion  library  for Datalight C has over 100
  118.               functions.  Much of "Steve's Library" for Turbo - C is
  119.               included, except the  direct  video  (which  Datalight
  120.               provides).   However,  "Steve's Library" provides much
  121.               of  what  Datalight  forgot,  like  control-break  and

  145.                            FOR AMATEUR RADIO OPERATORS

  148.               This  is  the  first  in  what will become a series of
  149.               contest  logging  programs  for  the   Amateur   Radio
  150.               Operator.   CONLOG is intended for the annual November
  151.               Sweepstakes.  This package is more than  one  program.
  152.               There is a logging program for use during the contest,
  153.               and  two  support  programs  to  print  the  resulting
  154.               logsheets, summary, and duplicate check sheets.    All
  155.               forms   are  printed  with  slick  graphics  (for  IBM
  156.               compatible printers only), but can be also printed  on
  157.               non-IBM printers without the graphics.  The forms have
  158.               been  approved  by  the  ARRL  for submission as valid
  159.               contest entries.    Extra  care  has  been  taken   to
  160.               preserve all log entries, even if there is a system or
  161.               power failure.    The  user  can  configure  all video
  162.               attributes,  plus  name,   QTH,   rig,   and   section
  163.               information.   This  program  is the result of various
  164.               programs written over the last  seven  years  for  the
  165.               Sweepstakes.  No guarantees are made, but MY score has
  166.               increased by over 25% as a result of computer logging!
  167.               And  the  time  saved  in re-copying the logs (to make
  168.               them readable!) is incredible.  My  entry  is  usually
  169.               ready  for  mailing about 30 minutes after the contest
  170.               ends.  All new contest rules are supported,  including
  171.               the  new West Texas section, and QRP power precedence.
  172.               Provisions are made to  edit  or  delete  log  entries
  173.               during  the  contest,  and the program absolutely will
  174.               not let you log a duplicate callsign!  Log size  is  a
  175.               hefty  2500  entries  to  cover  even  you guys in the
  176.               COLorado section.  Try it once, and  throw  away  your
  177.               pencil!   And  when  you  work  the contest, say hi to
  178.               WA9DRE when we work!
