  2.                        EMBEDDED BIOS ROM DISK

  4. Embedded BIOS has an integrated ROM disk driver that provides disk drive
  5. emulation with Flash or UVROM devices.  Using the included utilities, it
  6. is easy to create a bootable floppy disk that can be transferred to a
  7. binary file for access by the ROM disk software integrated in the BIOS.

  9. The Embedded BIOS ROM disk can operate in either protected mode or real
  10. mode, enabling its operation in low-end 186-based systems or high-end
  11. 386, 486, and Pentium systems with ROM at the end of the address space.

  13. Commonly, the ROM disk can be stored into the same ROM device used to
  14. hold the BIOS, since the size of the BIOS can be configured for any size
  15. from 8kb to 64kb, depending on the options you select.
