  1. Roland JV-1080/XP-50 Patch / Patch Bank

  4. * Patch 
  5.   - loads the current patch from the
  6.     1080 or XP in Patch Mode
  7.  
  8. * Patch 1 .. 16
  9.   - loads the selected patch from the
  10.     patch from the 1080 or XP-50 in
  11.     Performance mode
  12.  
  13. * Patch Bank
  14.   - loads all 128 Patches from the
  15.     internal RAM Bank
  16.  
  17. * Match the JV-1080 Unit number
  18.   to the "Comm Ch" in the driver list
  19.   - press the System button
  20.   - press the DOWN button
  21.   - until SYS-EXC page is displayed
  22.   - Ensure Unit# matches the Comm Ch
  23.   - Ensure Rx.Exc is ON
  24.  
  25. * Match the XP-50 Unit number
  26.   to the "Comm Ch" in the driver list
  27.   - press the SYSTEM button
  28.   - press the MIDI button (Button 4)
  29.   - press the UP or DOWN arrows
  30.   - until "Unit #" is displayed
  31.   - Ensure Unit# matches the Comm Ch
  32.   - Ensure Rx.Exc is ON

  34. * Note: the JV-1080 and XP-50 do not
  35.   provide SysX codes to load the ROM
  36.   banks into the computer. Patches must
  37.   be loaded singly.

  39. * Note: the XP-50 can not tranmit its
  40.   sequence data via a SysX dump. This
  41.   data must be saved to disk.
