  4. * loads all of the keyboard sets stored
  5.   in the i30

  7. * there is no editor for this data

  10. * IMPORTANT! Many of the i30 SysX dumps
  11.   will only transmit if the "Flter, MIDI" page
  12.   is selected in the Global area. You must
  13.   do this manually, there is no way for
  14.   Midi Quest to automate it.
  15.  
  16. * IMPORTANT! The i30 features a poor
  17.   SysX implementation. For all dumps
  18.   except individual "Patch" and "Drums"
  19.   transmissions, the i30 must be placed
  20.   in a special receive mode. To enter
  21.   this receive mode, please:
  22.   - Press the Global button
  23.   - Press the MENU button
  24.   - Choose the "Filter, MIDI" page
  25.   - Press the menu select button in the
  26.     upper right corner of the screen
  27.   - in the menu, choose "Receive Dumped
  28.     Data"
  29.   - start the dump from Midi Quest
  30.  
  31. * IMPORTANT! As a result of the above,
  32.   you can not send a Group as a single
  33.   dump. You must set up and send each
  34.   type of data separately. Again this applies
  35.   go all data types except Patch and Drums.
  36.   For example, if you are editing a Song, 
  37.   make all of the necessary edits, follow the
  38.   above proceedure to place the i30 in
  39.   receive dump mode and then manually
  40.   send the data from Midi Quest. Our
  41.   apologies, there is no way around this!
  42.   (The above applies to multiple i30 entries
  43.   in a DBase as well)

  45. * TURN ON SYSTEM EXCLUSIVE
  46.   The i30 ships with SysX disabled. 
  47.   To turn it on:
  48.   - Press the Global button
  49.   - Press the Menu button
  50.   - Choose the "Filter, MIDI" page
  51.   - Ensure "Enable Exclusive" is checked
  52.  
  53. * Match the software's Comm Ch to the
  54.   instrument's Global MIDI Channel 
  55.   - Press the Global button
  56.   - Press the Menu button
  57.   - Choose the "Filter, MIDI" page
  58.   - Verify that the software's CommCh and
  59.     the instrument's Global channel are the
  60.     same
