  1. Evolution EVS-1 Group / Group Bank

  4. Note: Group is the EVS-1 term for a
  5.           Multi Setup.

  7. Group Bank - load all 20 Groups
  8. Group - load a single group
  9.            - use the PCH# to select the group
  10.  
  11.  
  12. Before an updated Group or Group Bank 
  13. can be sent to the EVS-1 Memory Protect 
  14. must be turned off. This can be 
  15. accomplished:
  16.  
  17. 1) By using the buttons on the front panel 
  18.     of the EVS-1
  19.    a) Press the Bank Util button until the 
  20.        LED below the button is illuminated.
  21.    b) Press one of the >>> buttons until 
  22.        the LED above Memory Protect is 
  23.        illuminated.
  24.    c) If the LED display reads ON press the 
  25.        up arrow key to the left or right of the 
  26.        display until it reads off.

  28.    Data may now be sent to the EVS-1
  29.  
  30. 2) Use the Utility Data Option supplied 
  31.     with Midi Quest to retrieve the Utility 
  32.     Data and set Memory Protect to OFF.
  33.  
  34.    Data may now be sent to the EVS-1
  35.  
  36. * The Midi Channel must be set to the 
  37. same as the Communication and Midi 
  38. Channel in Midi Quest for successful 
  39. communications.

  41. Note: Utility data can be updated on the 
  42. EVS-1 even when Memory Protect is on.
