- * A phrase in a Words search can be no longer than 4 words. A Words
- search can be up to 10 words long, not including Boolean operators.

- * Refer to a previous Words search by typing a number sign (#) and the
- Log entry number of the previous search.

- * Computer Select LE contains a list of masked words that can not
- be used in a Words search (words like "the" and "a"). Omitting these
- words makes the search process much faster. If your search phrase
- includes a masked word, you can replace it with a wildcard and
- process the search as usual.

- Use the UP and DOWN arrow keys to highlight any field you want to
- use in your search.

- For the alphanumeric fields, press ENTER to display the wordwheel.

- press F9 to process the search.

- You can recall a previous Fields search by highlighting its Log entry
- on the Log Screen and pressing F2. The Field Template will appear
- with the values used in the original search. Change any values you
- wish and press F9 to process the new search. (Note: This feature
- won't work with Log entries from sections other than the current one).

- If you selected more than one value in a given field, a small
- down-arrow will appear at the right end of the field in the
- Field Template as a reminder.

- To re-open an alphanumeric field, press ENTER and then press F4 to
- toggle between the marked view and the entire view of the wordwheel.
- You can delete field value selections from the marked view by
- highlighting one at a time and pressing INSERT. To add new values to
- your selections, display the entire wordwheel and select using INSERT.

- Titles or Browse.
- 2. Mark each title or document you want in the new Log entry by

- 4. Select MARK from the Utility menu.
- 5. Select SAVE from the Mark menu to create the new Log entry.
- 6. Enter the name of your new Log entry.

- To select a new section to search:

- 3. Press ENTER to open the new section for searches. A new Log entry
- is created with all documents from the selected section. The new
