  44. INSTALLATION

  47.   1. Create a new directory for the gopher files.
  48.   2. Copy WGOPHER.ZIP into the directory you created in step 
  49.      #1.
  50.   3. Use PKUNZIP.EXE to unpack WGOPHER.ZIP.
  51.   4. Create the following directory for the temporary files:
  52.                C:\WINDOWS\TEMP 
  53.   5. Add the following environment variable to your AUTOEXEC.BAT
  54.      file:
  55.              SET TEMP=C:\WINDOWS\TEMP
  56.   6. Run MS Windows and add Gopher for Windows as an item to a
  57.      new or existing program group.
  58.  
  59.   The first time you run Gopher for Windows you will have to edit
  60.   some of the configuration information and an initialization file
  61.   WGOPHER.INI will be created into the working directory.
