  3. PrintPS is a utility for printing PostScript files on a LaserWriter 
  4. connected to your Macintosh.  The Macintosh Printing Manager is
  5. designed to convert QuickDraw documents into PostScript and then
  6. send them to the printer.  There is no easy way to send a complete
  7. PostScript document to a printer through the Printing Manager.
  8. PrintPS bypasses the Printing Manager and talks directly to the
  9. LaserWriter.  It can print in the background but does not use the
  10. PrintMonitor.  If you are connected to a PostScript printer via some
  11. network other than AppleTalk, consult your network documentation.
