  3. This package contains:
  4. -    Literate Programming Workshop
  5. -    LPW User Manual
  6. -    ParseErrors, which is both an example project and a tool you need
  7.     for your work with LPW
  8.  
  9. The Literate Programming Workshop is an environment for the integrated
  10. development of program source text and documentation in combined documents.
  11. It consists of a WYSIWYG word processor based on a style sheet approach, a
  12. mechanism to extract parts of the text in a document, and a project
  13. management system that handles multi-document projects. The system is
  14. designed to be used in conjunction with MPW: It prepares raw source text
  15. for the MPW compilers, accepts MPW error messages, and shows them in the
  16. context of the original documents. Automatic indexing and hypertext
  17. features allow for easy access to both source text and documentation.

  19. Compared to LPW 1.1, LPW 1.2 adds the following features:
  20. -    wide views (rulers without right margin)
  21. -    deleting style and excerpt definitions
  22. It also removes a few bugs.

  24. LPW 1.2 is shareware - if you use it for more than two weeks, you have
  25. to register your copy and pay the registration fee of $50.
