Prices and requirements

Termite is compatible with RISC OS versions 3.1 and later. It is not guaranteed to work on older operating systems. A hard disc and 2 megabytes of RAM are required to run Termite. 4 megabytes recommended for Termite Internet.

We can also sell you a US Robotics modem to run Termite with, David Pilling's ArcFax software, an easy way to turn your modem into a fax. (Your modem must support this; all modems supplied by us do.) Additionally, the Intelligent Interfaces Dual Serial Card gives you two high-speed serial ports. This will be needed to get the full advantage of a 28k8 or faster modem on an older (pre-A5000) Archimedes computer.

You will require an appropriate modem lead. Zoom modems come with a free PC-wired modem lead - this will only work on A4, A4000, A5000 and RPC computers. If you do not have one of these computers then you need to buy an Archimedes-wired modem lead.
