- This is a desktop trashcan after the fashion of the Mac version, it is
- written as a module and has a * command interface from the CLI - type
- *Help TrashFS from the f12 * prompt. Just drag files to the icon on the
- iconbar to trash them. You can access the trashcan by clicking Select over
- the icon, and adjust closes it. The position of the trashcan can be altered
- by changing the variable TrashFS$TrashDir in the !Run file. Shift-drag
- files out of the trashcan to take them out it is just a normal filer window.
- If an action that you are about to do will result in file(s) being deleted
- then you will be informed by the border changing colour to red.
- The state of the options is stored in CMOS RAM - if you are wondering,
- smooth makes the trashcan animation from thin to fat and vice versa
- "smoother". Immediate deletes files dragged to the icon instead of storing
- them in the trashcan. If Warning is off, no red border is displayed.
- A Temporary quit removes the icon until the next reset - Permanent removes
- it from memory completely.
- This version has a bug fix unlike the previously distributed version.
- Don't use versions with no help file - the trash directory isn't initialised
- properly.
- The source is provided - you can delete it to make more room on disc if
- you want. (PD Libraries & anyone distributing !TrashFS: please include the
- source code)
