  3. New versions of TTiming

  5. As I said in the last release, TTiming slows my computer down a lot and to
  6. prevent this I wrote a new less accurate version for those with slower
  7. computers. It suffers from being 10 times less accurate that the previous
  8. one, but it shouldn't be all that noticeable as the older computers are very
  9. slow anyway.

  11. Figures for Arm2:
  12. Old TTiming: Latency 62.5%
  13. New TTiming: Latency 7.7%

  15. That's a 54.8% decrease in latency! Not bad eh?

  17. The new modules and sources are in this archive, and as you will see the new
  18. faster TTiming is called TTiming-.

  20. This faster TTiming- should only be used on machines which noticeably slow
  21. down when TTiming is installed (ie; Arm2, Arm250 and some Arm3's). Otherwise,
  22. do NOT use it as it will cause the tornado multitasker to become jerky and
  23. unsmooth.

  25. Later tornado will automatically load the correct TTiming, but for now you'll
  26. have to twig the !Run files.
