  1. The file Intro contains the introduction to the really easy guide as to why
  2. you should write for Tornado. All copyright notices, and the index are also
  3. contained in that file.

  5. Also, in this archive there is a GIF file which is a screenshot of tornado in
  6. action on a 4Mb RO2 floppy only machine (mine!). Not particularly impressive,
  7. and also the colours are a bit off (thanks to the RO2 ColourTrans), but it
  8. sorta shows what everything will eventually look like. BTW, ChangeFSI or
  9. better Translator (as it's a lot faster with GIFs than ChangeFSI) can be used
  10. to view the GIF. It's a SVGA 256 colour sprite (=480k), so have a bit of
  11. memory free.

  16. This archive, and complete details of tornado, can be retrieved from the
  17. following sites:

  19. micros.hensa.ac.uk (or the shadow at ftp.demon.co.uk, or the mirror at
  20. src.doc.ic.ac.uk). Go into the acorn section, then do a search for 'tornado'.
  21. The appropriate docs should appear.

  23. The Digital Databank BBS - number is +44 1707 323531 [3 lines]. (note the
  24. docs probably will be available from most large Acorn BBS's, so check your
  25. local BBS first). Go into area 111 (my area), and do a search there for
  26. 'tornado'. If you're lucky, you may even find a demo or two ... :-)

  36. email has been chockablock with mail since you were stupid enough not to ask
  37. me about going to press. Christ, everyone could have gone to hensa instead of
  38. kicking my door down!

  40. cost me a LOT of money to talk to all these people. Whatever twat at AU did
