- Program : Archimedes Today
-
- Release : 1.00
-
- Date : 29-Aug-1990
-
- Well here's summat - a wee prog to put amazing things on the screen that
- you always wanted to know. Basically I pulled the program off the NPDSA
- at Lancaster a while back and put it in my autoexec.bat in the PCE.
- Yesterday I wrote the Archimedes version as it seemed like a good idea at
- the time. It works ok as far as Ive tested it.
-
- See the PC documentation for a full description of what happens. Note that
- this version doesnt take params like the PC one - just couldnt be bothered
- to put the code in today.
-
- The absolute included looks in "library:TodayData.xxx" where xxx is the
- current month ie 'aug' and then afterwards in 'own'.
-
- library: wassat? I hear someone scream. Well its the env variable
- '<Library$Path>' ie summat like 'adfs::HardDisc4.$.!System.Library.'.
-
- The more awake of you out there may recognise the messages as being the same
- ones as displayed by many BBS systems including Hugo Fiennes' piece of
- resistance.
-
- If you want to use it inside the PCE then read the original docs, rename the
- files and all that...
-
-
-
- Have lots of fun with this.. (well try to anyway).
-
- ttfn,
- James Noad.
