  4. !tar is a front end to Frank Lancaster's port of tar
  5.  
  6. I included tar, the documentation on it and the compress utility from Frank's
  7. tar package in this archive, so you can use !tar straight away
  8.  
  9. With the original archive also come tar_clib and compr_clib which use the
  10. CLib 3.66 - I did not include these as I think in the year 1993 a.D. the
  11. problem is not that 3.66 is still too hot for everybody to have it already.
  12. I hope Frank won't be as angry about this omission as to undertake something
  13. drastic. Besides, there are many places you can get the virgin tar.arc from
  14.  
  15. Read tar`doc to see how you should and !tar.!Help to see how you shouldn't
  16. write your help/documentation

  31. PS I haven't put tar, compress and tar`doc into a separate directory
  32.    as the resulting arc archive (I don't have !Spark nor do I have !ArcFS/rw)
  33.    could not be read with !ArcFS/r (though with !SparkPlug)
