- StopClock 0.02 (27-Jul-1992)
- ============================
-
- (c) Jon Ribbens, 1992
-
-
- This program is JonWare. This means you can copy it around as much as you
- like and give it to all your friends as long as you include the files, you
- don't alter any of it and you don't make any money out of it. If you violate
- any of these rules then you must go and sit in the corner and recite one
- hundred thousand times, "I am a very bad person.".
-
-
-
- Following my current policy of writing piddly little utilities the day after
- what was probably the only time in my life I would have used it, I now bring
- upon an unsuspecting world.... StopClock!
-
-
- The name's a bit misleading, actually. It should be called
- 'Stop_Start_Reset_and_lap_timery_thingy_Clock' but that doesn't fit in ten
- characters.
-
- If you have a digital watch with a stopclock then ignore the rest of the
- instructions, it's just like your watch, the 'Start' and 'Stop' buttons are
- the 'Start/Stop' button on your watch, and the display is the 'Reset/Lap'
- button.
-
- Anyway, when it loads it has a cute little window with what looks like three
- icons but is actually nine icons cunningly disguised. Click on 'Start' to
- start the timer, and 'Stop' to stop it. Click on the display for 'reset'. If
- you click reset when the timer is going then the 'lap' indicator will appear,
- and the display will stop, but (wait for it)... the timer is still going!
-
- TaDa!
-
- If you click reset again then the 'lap' indicator will disappear back to the
- void from whence it came and the timer will jump to whatever time it's
- currently timed and continue timing from there.
-
- Oh yes, there's a menu as well, you lucky people. It has an 'Info' window in
- case you forget the name of the program and 'Quit' in case your hand-eye
- coordination is so bad you can't hit the main window's close icon.
-
- As an added bonus, you can press CTRL-INSERT to toggle start/stop and you can
- also press SHIFT-INSERT for reset/lap. Isn't that nice?
-
-
- One last thing, a disclaimer-type thingy: StopClock is not your average
- atomic-type accurate to one thousandth of a millionth of a little bit of a
- second timer. Any damage, injuries, deaths, or freak time-warps caused by use
- or mis-use of StopClock is ALL YOUR OWN FAULT.
-
-
- Any money, letters (!?), large suspicious ticking packages, just about
- anything to:
