  1. Espon Stylus 500 driver

  4. This driver is designed for use with !Printers 1.53 or 1.54. It
  5. consists of the printer definition file, StyCol500, and a
  6. Palettes directory, with two printer palette files.
  7.  
  8. To install in !Printers 1.53 (disc based):
  9.  
  10.  - Open the !Printers directory, by holding down a shift key
  11.    and double-clicking on the !Printers icon in the disc
  12.    viewer. (You will need to find where !Printers is installed
  13.    on your disc.)
  14.  
  15.  - Copy the Palettes directory supplied with this release into
  16.    the !Printers directory you have just opened. This updates
  17.    the set of Palettes.
  18.  
  19.  - Install the StyCol500 definition as normal, and save choices
  20.    as desired. To make absolutely sure the newer palette files
  21.    are used, you should reboot your machine.

  24. To install in !Printers 1.54 (ROM based):
  25.  
  26.  - Open the !Boot directory, by holding down a shift key
  27.    and double-clicking on the !Boot icon in the disc viewer.
  28.    Open the Choices directory in !Boot, then the Printers
  29.    directory in Choices.
  30.  
  31.  - Copy the Palettes directory supplied with this release into
  32.    the Printers directory you have just opened. (It doesn't
  33.    matter whether there is currently a Palettes directory there
  34.    or not). This updates the set of palettes available to the
  35.    ROM based !Printers.

  37.  - Install the StyCol500 definition as normal, and save choices
  38.    as desired. To make absolutely sure the newer palette files
  39.    are used, you should reboot your machine.
