  1. !SCSIFlash instructions.

  4. This is a BETA copy of the next version of the SCSI II
  5. firmware for the Cumana SCSI II interface. A beta version
  6. of software, by its nature, may have bugs or unexpected
  7. features so if your data is irreplaceable you should not
  8. use this software. At the very least, make backups before
  9. you start.
  10.  
  11. To use this application, simply run it by double clicking on
  12. it. This will bring up a list of modules that are about to
  13. be installed on the card. Each box will have a tick-box
  14. next to it so that you can force the installation of any
  15. given module on or off. Please note, most of the default
  16. modules are /required/ by the SCSI card so you should not
  17. disable any module unless you are sure what you are doing.
  18. The main exception to this rule is CDFS - users of RISC OS
  19. 3.6 or 3.7 should disable this module as there is a later
  20. version in the OS. The module is supplied for users of
  21. RISC OS 3.1 or 3.5, who should install the CDFS module if
  22. they wish to use a CD-ROM drive.

  24. You would be best advised to save any work and reboot
  25. before attempting to reflash your Cumana SCSI card.
