  4. Sometimes, whilst on line, the modem may seem to stop sending data.
  5. Everything seems OK perhaps, but the computer at the other end doesn't
  6. seem to be talking to you any more.  There are various reasons why
  7. this might happen, and this tiny program may cure a few of them. 
  8. There is no guarantee that it will work everytime, but it most
  9. certainly has worked sometimes.

  11. Whatever happens, it can't do any harm, so if you are having problems,
  12. try running it and see if things improve. Good luck.

  15. What does it do ?

  18. The Serial_Op call transmits a break, then waits 50cs before re-setting.  
  19. If the serial buffer contains anything, the transmission process is woken 
  20. up by the call.  If the serial buffer is empty, transmission stops.
  21. That's all there is to it.
