  5. This is version 2·24 of DrawPlus.  As well as the inevitable bug fixes, a
  6. number of new features have been added.  DrawPlus now possesses all of the
  7. features of RiscOS 3 Draw, apart from the two features in previous versions
  8. of Acorn Draw that previous versions of DrawPlus did not have.  Work that
  9. one out if you can!

  11. The changes are summarised below;  refer to the documentation file for more
  12. information.

  15. 1.  Transformed text and sprite objects are supported (RiscOS 3 only).  Text
  16.     objects, sprites and groups containing them can now be rotated, skewed
  17.     and flipped in the same way as path objects.  Transformed text objects
  18.     can be edited.

  20. 2.  Some types of Vector object (i.e. replicates and radiates) can be
  21.     displayed and manipulated (moved, copied etc).  It is not possible to
  22.     change the parameters of such an object, or to extract the original
  23.     object.

  25. 3.  Text-to-path conversion works with both the RiscOS 2 and RiscOS 3 font
  26.     managers.  When using RiscOS 3, both disc and ROM fonts can be
  27.     converted.

  29. 4.  The font table is handled more intelligently.  This should result in
  30.     smaller Draw files, especially if you have a lot of fonts.

  32. 5.  A few extra keystrokes have been added.  The 'Del' and 'Copy' keys
  33.     delete and copy the selection, respectively, in the same way as '^X' and
  34.     '^C'.  The '^f1' key causes DrawPlus to give up the caret if it
  35.     currently holds it:  this allows keystrokes to reach another application
  36.     which is trapping hotkeys (e.g. Menon).

  38. 6.  Colour dithering, Iconise and Save Desk are supported for RiscOS 3.
  39.  
  40. 7.  Printing via Laser Direct shouldn't crash the machine if the print is
  41.     interrupted by pressing Escape or any other error.
