- !!ReadCat is the read only version of !!DisCat, a disc catalog and file
- request program. Details on how to obtain the full version of !!DisCat are
- at the end of this file.

- You can start !!ReadCat up by either:
- a) Double click on the !!ReadCat icon
- b) Double click on a Catalog file
- c) Double click on a directory containing a Catalog file.

- Either way, !!ReadCat will load and install itself on the icon bar.

- Having loaded a file into !!ReadCat a window is displayed showing the
- contents of that file. You can then browse around the catalog to your
- hearts content.

- Ŵ Linking with !!Request

- €!!Request is a program that allows you to build a list of files and/or
- discs that you would like. Having loaded the program by double clicking on
- the !!Request icon, you can drag a file from !!ReadCat (or !!DisCat) to
- the !!Request icon or window, and that file will be added to the current
- list.
- The list can then be saved as a text file, or dragged to a text editor
- (!Edit for example).

- restrictions set out above, are freely distributable.

- !!DisCat is a 'read/write' version of !!ReadCat, which allows you to
- catalog your own discs in the same format as !!ReadCat.
