  13. !AudioFS is a filing system for audio CDs (RISC OS 3
  14. only I'm afraid).  It enables you to open filer
  15. windows for audio CDs with each track on the CD
  16. being represented by a separate file.  Double
  17. clicking on one of these files plays the relevant
  18. track.

  22. =======

  24. To start !AudioFS, double click on its icon in a filer
  25. window.  Once loaded, the application's icon will
  26. appear on the icon bar.  Clicking on the icon with
  27. <Select> will open a filer window for the CD currently
  28. in the drive.

  31. AudioFS Filer Windows
  32. =====================
  33.  
  34. The number in the title bar of an AudioFS filer window
  35. is the unique identification number of the CD that the
  36. window is a representation of.  The window will
  37. contain a file icon for each of the tracks on the CD
  38. and a Stop icon.  Double clicking on any track file
  39. will play the relevant track.  Double clicking on the
  40. stop icon will stop the CD.

  42. Because the window is a standard filer window, you can
  43. do things like sort by size, so you can see which is
  44. the longest track on the CD, or display full info to
  45. see the size of the tracks in Mbytes and the length in
  46. minutes and seconds.

  51. Don't try and copy or load any of the track files.
  52. This may crash the machine. You have been warned!
