- Introduction
- ============
-
- !AudioFS is a filing system for audio CDs (RISC OS 3
- only I'm afraid). It enables you to open filer
- windows for audio CDs with each track on the CD
- being represented by a separate file. Double
- clicking on one of these files plays the relevant
- track.
-
-
- Loading
- =======
-
- To start !AudioFS, double click on its icon in a filer
- window. Once loaded, the application's icon will
- appear on the icon bar. Clicking on the icon with
- <Select> will open a filer window for the CD currently
- in the drive.
-
-
- AudioFS Filer Windows
- =====================
-
- The number in the title bar of an AudioFS filer window
- is the unique identification number of the CD that the
- window is a representation of. The window will
- contain a file icon for each of the tracks on the CD
- and a Stop icon. Double clicking on any track file
- will play the relevant track. Double clicking on the
- stop icon will stop the CD.
-
- Because the window is a standard filer window, you can
- do things like sort by size, so you can see which is
- the longest track on the CD, or display full info to
- see the size of the tracks in Mbytes and the length in
- minutes and seconds.
-
-
- **** Important ****
-
- Don't try and copy or load any of the track files.
- This may crash the machine. You have been warned!
- (If you want to do this use !AudioFS2 instead)
