  1. Hallo Alan,
  2. Here is an update to !DemConfig.  The changes are:

  4. 1) I've updated !DemConfig to work with Alan Fitch's new SLIPdial script
  5. v1.5.
  6.  
  7. 2) The user now selects three PoPs from menus.  These appear on the SLIPdial
  8. menu, with the first one being the 'local' PoP.  There is a new option to
  9. select whether Mercury (if available) is to be used for the local PoP as well
  10. as the other two.
  11.  
  12. 3) The script to perform the initial login has been modified according to the
  13. information recieved from dave@demon.net about the new sequence of messages. 
  14. I have not been able to test it.

  16. I've sent only the changes from the previous version of !DemConfig rather
  17. than the while thing, to save your phone bill.  Just copy the new files over
  18. version from 6 May.  You can also delete files "demonconfg", "unknown" and
  19. "Sportster" from the !DemConfig.Resources directory as they are no longer
  20. needed. You can also delete !DemConfig.Resources.SLIPDemon

  23. For DemConfig to work properly, it assumes that you have installed the
  24. modem drivers
  25.     ATZ
  26.     USR
  27.     Courier
  28.     Courier28k
  29.     Supra14k4
  30.     Zoom14k4
  31. in the !SLIPdial.Drivers directory, and Alan's new "demon" slipdial script
  32. into !SLIPdial.Scripts, before distributing the Starter Pack.
