  18. AutoSheet is ShareWare. This means that you may use AutoSheet on a trial
  19. basis only for a period of 30 days. After this trial period, you must either
  20. destroy  your copy, give it away or complete the registration form and send
  21. it to Alisdair McDiarmid at the address in the manual. The current cheapest
  22. registration fee is just £5, making Autosheet easily the most inexpensive
  23. arithmetic worksheet creator available. This registration fee includes a disc
  24. with a registered version of AutoSheet, and a printed Impression manual may
  25. be supplied (see below – Licenses). Note - this is not professionally
  26. printed, just laser printed booklet format, folded and stapled.

  29. Licenses

  32. There are three levels of registration available, each  with a different and
  33. appropriate price. These levels are :
  34.  • Student – priced at £5, this covers individual pupils or parents. This
  35.    includes the right to use AutoSheet indefinitely. Unfortunately, at this
  36.    price free updates are not available from me, and you will not receive the
  37.    Impression manual on disc or printed.
  38.  • Teacher – priced at £15, this is for teachers to use for their own pupils
  39.    only;  worksheets may not be photocopied or used elsewhere in the school/
  40.    site. You will be entitled to free updates and a printed Impression manual
  41.    will be supplied. This requires payment with the order – official
  42.    educational orders are not permitted.
  43.  • Site License – priced at £30 (although I reserve the right to alter this
  44.    price at my discretion) which allows teachers to photocopy their
  45.    worksheets and to copy the program for use on site only. You will again be
  46.    entitled to free updates and a printed Impression manual will be supplied.
  47.    Extra manuals will be supplied at a price of £1.50 each. Official
  48.    educational orders are permitted, to be sent to David Holden at APDL only.

  52. Distribution
  53. ------------

  55. Unregistered versions of AutoSheet may be freely distributed with the
  56. following conditions:
  57.  
  58.  • AutoSheet must be distributed intact, excluding the manual in Impression
  59.    format, which must not be distributed. The text manual must be supplied.
  60.    Any alterations made to the program must be removed before distribution.
  61.  • AutoSheet may only be distributed in such a way that no commercial gain or
  62.    advantage is made via it’s distribution. Distribution ‘costs’ may be
  63.    charged so long as they are less than the equivalent of £2.00 sterling.
  64.  • AutoSheet may not be distributed on any CD–ROM or PD collection, or with
  65.    any commercial product without my prior consent.

  67. Registered versions of AutoSheet may not be distributed. These contain the
  68. licensee’s name embedded in the software. Computer software thieves can
  69. and will be prosecuted.
  70. Licensees of AutoSheet may make infinite backups, as long as AutoSheet is
  71. installed or used on no more than one machine at a time (site licences
  72. exempt).
