  18. and distribute it, so long as you do not sell it and it provided complete
  19. with all files that came in the original version in an unaltered state. PD
  20. libraries may charge a nominal fee for the cost of duplication, postage, etc.

  33. Variable usuage
  34. ---------------

  36. Most internal variables used in the Libstore series of programs are prefixed
  37. with 'lib_', and should not be changed unless otherwise stated. There are a
  38. few exceptions to this rule, the most important one being block%. This is a
  39. pointer to a block of memory 4096 bytes long, and should not be changed. If
  40. you need a block of memory, either use your own, or use that which is pointed
  41. to by lib_temp%.

  43. Adding your own libraries
  44. -------------------------

  46. !Libstore2 is a system resource, like !System or !Scrap. With the original
  47. version comes two libraries: WimpLib and SpriteLib. If you want to add your
  48. own, you can create a new directory with its name and place any related BASIC
  49. files in there. For more details on how to update the indexing program, ask
  50. me.

  52. Releasing your own libraries
  53. ----------------------------

  55. If you can, get hold of a full copy of !Setup, which has system updating
  56. facilties which you can use to automatically update copies of !Libstore.

  58. Failing this, the release should be a version of !Libstore with JUST your
  59. library files in it, and maybe a program to update the index catalouge of
  60. the Libstore on the computer it is installing on.
