Yes, I know it's another tracker player, but I wrote it, so it's special to me. It has to be said, that I'm pretty cr*p at programming, so it was quite a feat to write this simple application, aided by a wimp command library and the excellent QTMTracker module by Phoenix of Quantum. I've packaged it into a very small program, which plays the tune quite well, and looks pretty good too. The play window can be scaled to show just the controls, or a comprehensive status display. You can also find out some basic information about the tracker file being played.
I've also included a rather fun VU-meter program, converted from the short program located inside the !QTMPlayer application. Unfortunately, I'm useless at programming machine code, and not very good at basic, because I've only ever read a book on how to program BBCs! This means that the VU bars flicker a lot, but the background sprite does make up for this. There are numerous key presses to control the music. Try and work out what they are!
Thanks to:
Quantum, for the excellent play routine.
The author(s) of !ClownPlay for the nice buttons.
Whoever designed the digital font I've used.
Archimedes World for the Wimp procedure library.
Philips, for making the wonderful hi-fi featured in !Stereo.

And finally . . .
This program has taken some time to write, so any tokens of appreciation, preferably of monetary value, would be appreciated. Also, if you own an Acorn Pocket Book, or a Psion Series 3 (I own a 256K Pocket Book One), send me £5 and an S.A.E, and I'll send you an 800K disk full of really good stuff, some of it written by me. Please allow 28 days for delivery etc ... etc.
