- Instalation of !HardApps
- =----------------------=
-
- Hard Apps works by basically, representing all the Applications in a
- specified directory (refered to as the ROMApps directory) in the ResourcesFS
- Apps directory. In order to do this, it must have a blank directory in which
- you can put things that you want included in the ReouceFS apps directory.
-
- Before instalation, Hard apps invites you to drag a directory to the
- instalation window. It will then set this to be the ROMApps directory.
-
- If you drag an application to the window, it will set the ROMApps directory
- to be a directory called ROMApps inside that application.
-
- When you click on the 'Install !HardApps' Icon, Hard apps will create the
- ROMApps directory if neccessary and then copy itself into it. It will then
- try to alter your !boot file (after asking you if you want it to try first).
-
- It must alter your !boot file so that it gets run when you turn your computer
- on. This will allow it to have all your apllications in the ResourceFS as
- soon as you get into the desktop.
-
- It is very easy to de install !Hardapps (although I don't know why you'd want
- to!) and this subject will be covered in another Help file called DeInstall.
-
- To find out more about what happens to your !Boot file, look at the Boot help
- file.
