  1. Instalation of !HardApps

  4. Hard Apps works by basically, representing all the Applications in a
  5. specified directory (refered to as the ROMApps directory) in the ResourcesFS
  6. Apps directory. In order to do this, it must have a blank directory in which
  7. you can put things that you want included in the ReouceFS apps directory.

  9. Before instalation, Hard apps invites you to drag a directory to the
  10. instalation window. It will then set this to be the ROMApps directory.

  12. If you drag an application to the window, it will set the ROMApps directory
  13. to be a directory called ROMApps inside that application.

  15. When you click on the 'Install !HardApps' Icon, Hard apps will create the
  16. ROMApps directory if neccessary and then copy itself into it. It will then
  17. try to alter your !boot file (after asking you if you want it to try first).

  19. It must alter your !boot file so that it gets run when you turn your computer
  20. on. This will allow it to have all your apllications in the ResourceFS as
  21. soon as you get into the desktop.

  23. It is very easy to de install !Hardapps (although I don't know why you'd want
  24. to!) and this subject will be covered in another Help file called DeInstall.
