  1. These modules were a kind gift of Stuart Halliday who has given his
  2. permission for me to release tham on HENSA.

  4. I have long sought someway of getting away from the rather restricted series
  5. of beeps supplied with the Acorn machines...I found "TICK" in the Cybervillage
  6. and rather liked it and asked for some more (..please).

  8. If you've got a RiscPC or A7000, then place the module(s) in the
  9. !Boot.Choices.Boot.PreDesk directory. Run the Configure program by
  10. double clicking on the !Boot application, select the Sound settings
  11. and change the Voice to whatever takes your fancy.

  13. There after you'll hear the that instead of that annoying beep!

  15. I don't know whether they work on pre-RPC machines...
