-
- 3{f!snowman } ({s685 }Kb)
- 4This program was converted from the Atari ST, PD demo program
- of
- 4the same name. So don’t expect amazing graphics or high quality
- 4sound, just sit back and enjoy a magical tale. Requires at least
- 4750k of free memory.
-
- 3{feucliddir } ({s76 }Kb)
- 4These are the original files that Nick van der Walle used to
- 4create his first class films. You will need the full version of
- 4Euclid to use them and maybe produce more films with them.
- 4An exclusive release by The Datafile. Thanks Nick.
-
- 3{ffilm14 } ({s30 }Kb)
- 4A car is constructed from many individual lines.
-
- 2{dan016 } ««
-
- 2These are two of the finest films you are ever likely to see on
- 2the Arc, saying that Nick is always proving me wrong. If you
- 2don’t get this disc you are really missing out on two very
- 2special films.
-
- 3{fdragon } ({s365 }Kb)
- 4This starts of as an impressive drawing of a dragon and it slowly
- 4changes into the Datafile Logo with a message. It is superb.
-
- 3{fwhirlpool } ({s399 }Kb)
- 4This film starts of with a colour picture of a small boat. It
- 4starts to spin like a whirl pool and when it stops it has changed
- 4in to an Acorn. Again this is superb.

- 4may not be distributed by any other library.
-
- 3{f!projector } ({s21 }Kb)
- 4Shows files made from The Euclid package
- 4Tony Cheal. v1.17.
-
- 2{dan017 } ««
-
- 3{f!datawaves } ({s215 }Kb)
- 4The X position of the mouse controls the logo, the Y position
- 4controls the animation speed. This animation has been written
- 4especially with Dave of the DataFile in mind. He had the nerve
- 4to criticise my last animation for being too small, so this one
- 4goes some way towards appeasing him, with 625k of sprites
- 4smoothly spinning in subtle syncronicity.
- 4Excellent!!
- 4The RAJ.
-
- 3{ffacefilm } ({s53 }Kb)
- 4A face slowly appears from a grey background.
-
- 3{fheli } ({s31 }Kb)
- 4A rather neat animated and raytraced helicopter.
- 4The RAJ. 2megs required.
-
- 3{fplane } ({s40 }Kb)
- 4As above but a plane rather than a helicopter. The mouse controls
- 4the speed of the props.
- 4The RAJ.
-
- 3{fpurity } ({s47 }Kb)
- 4One of The RAJ’s best animations.
-
- 3{fsmallboats } ({s9 }Kb)
- 4A small film with boats sailing by.
-
- 3{ftrain } ({s18 }Kb)
- 4A train with animated track.
- 4The RAJ.
-
- 3{fwheelball } ({s355 }Kb)
- 4Again Nicholas van der Walle has produced yet another stunning
- 4film. Based on his Wheel film but many times better.
- 4A must for any user interested in producing films on the Arc.
-
- 2{dan018 } ««
-
- 3{f!!readme!! } ({s1 }Kb)
- 4Info on Astute film.
-
- 3{fastute02 } ({s266 }Kb)
- 4The 3D files were created by Euclid (as usual) with Mogul for
- 4the film creation on a faithful A410/1 with RiSC-OS 3, 36Mhz
- 4Arm3, NO HARD DISC (wow!) and an essential 4Meg.
- 4The suspension unit is an exact replica (to the mm) of that of
- 4the Astute 2WD competition radio controlled model car - hence
- 4the name of Astute Graphics (well it sounded good at the time).
- 4The object was to see if Euclid was capable of creating a true
- 4engineering working model. Well, hopefully as the result shows,
- 4it is - but only if you have worked a lot (masses) with it. (By
- 4the way, I’m rather chuffed with the spring).
- 4Requires AN19 and a 4Meg machine.
- 4Nick van der Walle.
-
- 3{fdohc } ({s263 }Kb)
- 4It’s a cut-away model of a single-cylinder, double overhead
- 4camshaft four-stroke internal combustion engine (hence the name
- 4‘DOHC15’ - the ‘15’ indicates the screen mode it was created in.
- 4It goes some way beyond the rudimentary example supplied with
- 4Euclid (which only shows pistons, connecting rods and crank).
- 4This one also shows the cylinder barrel, cylinder head, spark
- 4plug, valves, actuators and cams - all in glorious, co-ordinated
- 4full motion! It also has an animated spark and burning sequence
- 4and the four ‘strokes’ of the cycle are annotated.
- 4Ian Nichols.
-
- 3{fslides } ({s50 }Kb)
- 4A rather impressive animated sliding block puzzle.
- 4RAJ.
-
- 3{fsplit } ({s183 }Kb)
- 4!Split was written to ease the transportation of large files from
- 4one computer to another (not necessarily the same make). No
- 4attempt to compress the file is made, as it is assumed this has
- 4already been done. !Split will split a file into a number of
- 4smaller files, and will join them again when required.
- 4Adam Hamilton.
-
- 4!Split is required by the Astute animation to join the two parts
- 4together.
-
- 2{dan019 } ««
-
- 3{fastute01 } ({s780 }Kb)
- 4Part two of Astute.
-
- 5{uan20 } {graphics Engine DD, 7-EMP,700}
- 4If the internal combustion engine is a mystery to you then this
- 4massive 5meg film is what you need. As the pistons move up and
- 4down the valves open and close in the correct sequence for each
- 4cylinder. The whole engine also revolves through 90 degrees to
- 4allow a clearer view.
- 4You will require 5 megs free on your hard drive. The package
- 4also includes a few smaller engine files.
- 4Seven discs in total. £7 plus VAT.
- 4Nicholas van der Walle of Astute Graphics.
-
-
- 5{uan27 } {animation DD, 5-EMP,500}
- 4You will require 19megs free on your hard drive to view this 230
- 4frame mandelbrot animation by Michael Searle. It is the biggest
- 4and finest ‘Zoom’ animation I have yet seen. Supplied on five
- 4discs with the application to join the split files together.
- 4£5 plus VAT.
- 4Michael Searle.
-
-
- 2{dan032 } ««

- 4The AIRBRUSH film shows a cutaway view of a working airbrush.
- 4In particular a gravity feed airbrush with independent
- 4double-action.
