Jennifer Gottesman is an interdisciplinary artist born in Toronto, Ontario in 1952. She studied at the M.S.H. Studio School of Art from 1966-1969, at George Brown College, Toronto from 1973-1975 where she received a Certificate in Commercial Art, and at Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design from 1993-1997.
Scope and content
The collection consists of five plastic ziploc freezer bags 21.5 x 18 cm, containing hair from family members labelled "Cat," "Dog," "Man," "Woman," "Child," and dated 1982- 1997, and five b & w photoprints in black card presentation folders, 18 x 24.5 cm of the same members, 1997.
