Pnina Granirer was born in Romania in 1935, and received her education in Jerusalem, Montreal, and at the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design, Vancouver. She is a former instructor in Continuing Education at the University of British Columbia.
Scope and content
The collection consists of nineteen slides of the artist's work from 1988-1997 in a plastic sleeve, a portfolio photobook 13 x 16.5 cm containing twenty-nine colour photoprints that the artist has taken of her works, titles noted, a book "The Trails of Eve, "from an edition of one hundred, which the artist considers her major work and was the subject of a film by Gretchen Jordon-Bastou based on it, a video tape recording by artist "Portrait of an Artist," 30 minutes, 1956-85, and printed material announcing the publication of "Pnina Granirer: Portrait of an Artist" by Ronsdale Press.
