- Quick Run v.1.0 By James Bell
- *****************************************************************************
-
- Introduction
-
- Quick Run is a very simple little utility for quickly getting a directory
- listing and/or running a Windows application. I wrote it so I could easily
- locate and run whatever project I'm working on.
-
-
- How to use Quick Run
-
- Quick Run has no parameters or settings, simply install it into your
- favorite group of Program Manager with "File", then "New".
-
- When you launch Quick Run you'll see a small directory listing and you can
- simply double-click on the EXE file you wish to run. Quick Run expects to
- load and run Windows applications and isn't designed to run DOS programs,
- or "associations" you may have listed in WIN.INI.
- If you try to run a non-EXE file, you'll be warned, but it will try to load
- and run the file (It will probably crash and burn, but usually won't bring
- Windows down with it).
-
- Quick Run minimizes itself to an icon as soon as you launch an application.
- The one other feature it has is an extra choice on its System Menu box to
- quickly leave Windows altogether.
-
-
- About Quick Run
-
- Quick Run is part of a continuing series of small Windows utilities I keep
- needing/writing, so if you would like to see the rest of them and/or get
- the latest version(s), register Quick Run by sending me $10.
-
- I'd appreciate hearing your ideas/comments/bug reports as well:
