- How to install GENOA VGA Windows Version 3.0 drivers

- 1. Follow Windows 3.0 setup procedures. At the end of the install
- procedure run Windows and an application program, to be sure you
- have successfully installed Windows.

- 2. Copy the six Window 3.0 files from the Genoa VGA Utility
- Diskette to the "C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM" sub-directory. This will
- overwrite the old "SETUP.INF" file.

- 3. Windows 3.0 Main Menu will be on the screen.
- a. Select the "Windows Setup" icon.
- b. Select "Options"
- c. Select "Change System Settings."
- d. Select "Display"

- 4. Scroll through the options and you will see four Genoa VGA
- display options near the top of the option box. Select the
- appropriate display resolution.

- Genoa GVGA 640X480 16 colors 70/60 Hz
- Genoa GVGA 640X480 256 colors 70/60 Hz
- Genoa GVGA 800X600 16 colors 70/60 Hz
- Genoa GVGA 800X600 256 colors 70/60 Hz
- Genoa GVGA 1024X768 16 colors 70/60 Hz

- Select the display resolution of your choice.

- 5. Restart Windows and the Genoa driver will be loaded.

- Note After the installation procedure is finished, if you want to
- change the display resolution, you only need to open Windows
- and follow steps 3 through 5.
