-
- FileClip is a replacement program for the Window's 3.0 File Manager. It also
- provides powerful clipboard support. FileClip retains a history stack of all
- Window's clipboard activity and gives the user the ability to do multiple
- level undo's and pastes across all Window's applications.
-
- FileClip's file manager, is ideal for both the novice and the Power Window's
- user. No more DOS windows to use DOS XCOPY or DIR commands for file
- applications. FileClip provides a easy to use interface and sophisticated
- file sorting and highlighting capabilities.
-
- FileClip comes with a complete Windows Hypertext help system.

- 1. Distribution files
- ---------------------
- FileClip is comprised of these four files:
-
- FILECLIP.TXT The file you are reading now.
- FILECLIP.EXE The executeble.
- FILECLIP.HLP The Window's Help Text for FileClip.
- FILECLIP.INV An invoice.
-
- If any of these files are missing you have an incomplete distribution.
-
- Please feel free to distribute FileClip to others.
-
- FileClip may be copied and distributed under these conditions.
- ------------------------------------------------------------
- 1. The program and its documentation are not modified in any way.
- 2. All four files (FILECLIP.TXT, FILECLIP.EXE, FILECLIP.HLP and FILECLIP.INV)
- are included in the distribution.
- 3. No charge other than a media and handling charge is made. This is
- limited to a maximum of $6.00 (US).

-
-
- ---------------
- 2. Installation
- ---------------
- To install simply copy FILECLIP.EXE and FILECLIP.HLP to a directory
- that is on PATH such as your Windows directory.
- Then run FILECLIP from the Program Manager or File Manager.
- FILECLIP will create a default configuration the first time
- it is used. It is recommended that FILECLIP be added to a Program
- Manager Group, by selecting FILE->NEW, from the Program Manager Menu. Use
- Browse to locate the file. Even better, use David Stafford's LAUNCH
- utility which will enable you to assign a Hot Key to FileClip.
-
- ---------------------
- 3. How do I register?
- ---------------------
- FILECLIP is Shareware. That means you can try it for a reasonable
- evaluation period (about one month) before you decide to register.
- Please support our efforts and the efforts of all Shareware authors by
- registering the software you use.
-
- A registration form is available in the file FILECLIP.INV. For a payment
- of $20.00 US, you will recieve a registration number (which
- will disable the reminder box which appears when FILECLIP is started).
- For a further payment of $7.50 to cover shipping and handling the latest
- version of FileClip will be mailed out to you on a Floppy Disk.
- Your registration will be valid for all minor upgrades. Substantial quantity
- discounts are available for site-licenses.
-
- Support is available via mail and CompuServe. If you have comments or
- ideas you would like to share about FILECLIP I would like to hear from
