  2. ClipBook (formerly known as Scrap Book)
  3. Version 3.0 - Evaluation version.

  6. Version 3.0 runs at least 300% faster in all areas. Some features
  7. performance has improved by 500%. Other new features are: print page, a
  8. caption button which displays the current time in the caption and Windows
  9. desktop and runs in the background, complete support for complex vector
  10. and bitmap clipart, a re-design of the colors and all buttons , a custom
  11. .ico file, and a pop up Index for much faster navigation.

  14. If you ran an Install that unZipped the distribution files from all 3
  15. disks, ToolBook version 1.5 has been installed on your system. This is the
  16. complete runtime and is a dramatic improvement over version 1.0. Please
  17. note that Books saved with ToolBook version 1.5 CAN NOT be opened or used
  18. with the old version 1.0 of ToolBook. Please take appropriate action to
  19. insure the integrity of your files.

  21. If you obtained Clipbook from a BBS and did not get an INSTALL.BAT file
  22. the CBOOK.ZIP and ToolBook 1.5 runtime .ZIP files should be expanded to
  23. a subdirectory of your choice. The program TBW.EXE in this archive will
  24. change your WIN.INI if necessary to include a ToolBook (.TBK extension)
  25. execution line for the Windows file manager. The syntax is
  26.  
  27.         TBW c:\windows\win.pp c:\windows\win.ini
  28.  
  29.         where the first parameter is a filename for a backup copy of your
  30.         WIN.INI and the second is the path and filename for your WIN.INI.

  33. Last minute release notes: The Index button displays the first 32
  34. characters of the Titles text for each page of clipart. This produces a
  35. faster display. Please contact us for our OS/2 version of ClipBook. Please
  36. consult your manual to install clipbook.ico.
