- GDIR (graphics directory)
-
- by H.R.FRAZER
- copyright 1991
-
-
- Usage: GDIR [drive:] [path] [filename [.ext] ]
-
-
- Gdir graphically represents file size and date by using bar graphs
- May be usefull for bislexic beople? I have found it useful for
- quickly spotting stray files in dos/program directories.
-
- File size is expressed as the distance the bar spans between zero
- and the maximum file size of the specified search.
-
- File date is expressed as the distance the bar spans between the
- minumum file date and the maximum file date found. If the date is
- 1/1/80 it is assumed the clock has not been set, so BAD DATE
- is specified in the date field and a ? ? ? in the date bar graph.
- If no date is found i.e. 0/0/1980, NO DATE is specified in the date
- field and - - - is shown in the date bar graph to indicate the
- date hasn't been set.
-
- If there is:- Only one file date found.
- or Several of the same file dates found.
- or One file date and one or several
- bad or unset dates found.
- or Several of the same file dates and one
- or several bad or unset dates.
-
- - the minimum date for the search is expressed as undefined.
-
- If there are no file dates found set or only file dates which are bad
- then the maximum file date is expressed as undefined.
-
- GDIR should self-format to herc, EGA and VGA graphics adapters.

- I tidy up the source (turbo c in case you didn't recognise BGI) I
- will provide that too.
-
- I am going overseas in october '91 however the above address will
- be valid still (Mum lives there) in the mean time any corresspondance
- can be made to there or

-
- -My work may also pass on some messages after I leave (for a few
- weeks). When I find work overseas with any luck I will be able to post
- a new e-mail address (and hopefully a new BAW version of GDIR {BAW is
- a TLA for Bells and whistles [TLA is a TLA for three letter acronum
- (hope that doesn't sound to recursive and that thats how you spell
- acheranumb) ] } ) <-- Hell maybe I should have written this in a
- structured language.
