  18. NOTE:  Again, a new version of the loader "DS.EXE" is provided  and  required
  19. with this release.  Ensure you remove all files from previous versions of the
  20. program so this version will not inadvertently use any such files.   You  CAN
  21. copy over the "DS_PROG.DEF" file from version 4.00 to this version 4.10. This
  22. should preserve your defined macros and directory links; however, REVIEW YOUR
  23. DEFAULTS (USING ALT-F10) PRIOR TO USING THEM, AS VERSION 4.10 SHOULD  CONVERT
  24. THE FILE FORMAT FROM VERSION 4.00 TO 4.10 WHEN YOU REVIEW THEM.  DO  NOT copy
  25. the "DS_GLOBL.LOG" file from a previous version to this version.

  27. NOTE:  Unlike previous versions of the program, this version DOES NOT REQUIRE
  28. the "set DS=....."  command be issued prior  to  starting  the  program.  The
  29. program will execute properly so long  as  the  "ds_ovrly.exe"  and  "ds.exe"
  30. files can be found in the current default directory or one of the directories
  31. in the PATH. If the "set DS=...."  command IS used,  however,  it  WILL  take
  32. precedence in setting the DS "HOME"  directory to the specified directory.

  34. The following files make up  a  Logitech  Mouse  Device  Driver  created  by 
  35. Tom LaChe' for version 4.00.   Please direct any update requests, questions,
  36. comments and/or contributions for this Logitech Mouse Device Driver directly
  37. to Mr. LaChe' as indicated in his "logi.def"  file.   Note  that  the  mouse 
  38. driver software should be loaded into the system prior to the  execution  of
  39. the Directory Scanner program.
