  11.        The  Simple   Electronic  Transmission  program  SET.1  from
  12.        Transamerica, is  a standalone  database system that is used
  13.        to transmit  Medicare claims electronically.  However, SET.1
  14.        is also an excellent daily manager.  It can be used to track
  15.        and store  information on  your patients,  the physicians  /
  16.        suppliers in  your office, and the ICD-9 codes and procedure
  17.        codes that  you frequently bill.  It will allow you to enter
  18.        the newly expanded CPT codes required in 1992.  It will also
  19.        print any  HCFA 1500  claims that  you may want to keep as a
  20.        paper record.

  22.        If you  are already using Doctor's Office Manager II Plus as
  23.        your daily  manager, your investment in your data as well as
  24.        in the  training of  your office  staff more than likely far
  25.        exceeds the  cost of all your computer hardware and software
  26.        combined.   Additionally, the  time consumed  in maintaining
  27.        two separate  daily management systems and the potential for
  28.        data entry  errors and  inconsistencies probably  weighs  in
  29.        favor of  staying with Doctor's Office Manager II Plus if at
  30.        all possible.

  33.        expanded  CPT  codes  and  the  electronic  transmission  of

  47.        will   be   transferred   electronically   to   Transamerica
  48.        Occidental Life  Insurance Company.   This  relieves you  of
  49.        costly software  upgrades to  meet the  new requirements and
  50.        keeps your office running smoothly.
