  1. DATAMAGE may have come to you in several ways:

  3. DOWNLOAD:
  4. If you have downloaded DATAMAGE from a B.B.S. the first thing you need to do is
  5. to unzip the three archives onto floppys.  Unzip MAGEV??A.ZIP onto a floppy and
  6. mark it DATAMAGE - DISK 1.  Do the same for the other two .zip  files,  marking
  7. the disks as DISK 2 (MAGEV??B.ZIP) and DISK 3 (MAGEV??C.ZIP).

  9. ON DISK:
  10. DATAMAGE comes to you in three parts.  If you have the 360K disks this much  is
  11. obvious; if you have the 720K disk it may not be.
  12.  
  13. INSTALLATION:
  14. If you have 3 disks place DISK 1 in a floppy drive, make the drive the default,
  15. and enter HD_INST.  The batch file will perform the first part of the  install.
  16. Then repeat the process, same batch file name and all, for the other two disks.
  17. The  single  disk install is identical to the above,  except that you  will not
  18. have to switch disks.

  20. The batch files are going to place DATAMAGE on drive C:.  If you desire another
  21. hard  disk as your target then you may search/replace the HD_INST  batch  files
  22. for C:, and your target drive.  Thank you for giving DATAMAGE a try - ENJOY!
