  15. reading magazines, articles etc..they use terms, abbreviations, and computer 
  16. slang known only to the informed. With the following dictionary even you can 
  17. understand it!

  20.      8087    - The year you finally pay off your peripherals.
  21.      8088    - The year your spouse forgives you for buying the computer.
  22.      Address    - Type of attire worn by some female programmers.

  24.      Altair    - A place where computers are sacraficed.
  25.      Array    - A blast from a CRT.
  26.      Backup    - Opposite of forward.
  27.      Branch    - A stick used for beating.
  28.      Buffer    - A programmer who works in the nude.
  29.      Coding    - An addictive drug.
  30.      Computer    - A device designed to speed and automate errors.
  31.      Cp/m    - Program listing for 'Look in the evening section'.
  32.      Cpu    - C3po's mother.
  33.      Dip    - Inventor of a famous switch.
  34.      Disk Drive - A motor for a frisbee.
  35.      Duplex    - Having two apartments.
  36.      Forth    - One of the top five computer languages.
  37.      GiGo    - Garbage in garbage out.
  38.      Ibm    - In London a frequent answer to the question 'Where is the

  40.      IC     - Understanding as in 'Oh, IC'.
  41.      Initailize - Carving your initials on a floppy disk.
  42.      Interate    - A healthy illiterate.
  43.      Joystick    - A peripherial intended for use only by consenting adults.
  44.      Keyboard    - Resembling a typewritter, a keyboard is used for entering

  51.      Memory Map - A sheet of paper showing location of computer store.
  52.      Mhz    - Acronym for 'Megahurtz', meaning 'a million pains'.

  54.      Nanosecond - Mork's stunt man.
  55.      Newdos    - Acronym for 'Not Exactly What The Dealer Offers To sell you.
