- One person reports that this device driver does not work with
- the Xenolink BBS. I can personally report that I used it on
- my Starnet BBS, and everything worked for a few hours and a
- dozen or so callers, then the system crashed. Since I had
- just installed v34serial.device, and I know Starnet has had
- troubles with other serial.device replacements, I can agree
- that v34serial.device probably caused the crash.
-
- However, I use v34serial.device on my A3000 with Terminus 2.0d
- and it works fine. Transfers of compressed data occur at about
- 1700 characters per second, and that is faster than with either
- the orignal Commodore serial.device, or with artser.device, which
- is my choice on the BBS (Starnet, A2000) right now.
-
- Just who wrote this and where it came from, I don't know.
