- Name : C64 Ripp Off Music Compilation, VOL 2.
- Description : A collection of C64 music from 1982-91
- Author : Jan Harries, Nyborgvej 79, 5000 Odense C, Denmark
- Date of Completion : 14. January 1994
- -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- 1. First, some info about this music-compilation
-
- This compilation uses PlaySID v2.2,
- (C) 1993 by Per Håkan Sundell & Ron Birk.
-
- The complete doc and other stuff that comes with PlaySID 2.2,
- should be present in this archive.
-
-
- * This compilation is VOL 2. (234 pieces of C64 Music)
-
- VOL 1 (256 pieces of C64 Music) of this compilation was released
- August 1993, but should you have missed it, it's available at all
- times (see end of this doc for addresses!), simply send an envelope
- with your address on it + 2 disks.
-
- I will keep 1 disk as payment for stamps, but otherwise it's all
- for free!
-
- I have avoided to convert music that is allready converted.
- (to my knowledge)
-
- * If you have converted some C64 music too, PLEASE send it to me!
-
-
- -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- 2. Then, some info about the music
-
- * Please be patient, some tunes take 1-3 seconds to start, but not
- many!
-
- * Some tunes won't play unless the 'Rewind' option in PlaySID is
- switched on.
- Remember to switch it on before loading the tunes in question!
-
- This problem occurs because PlaySID has to generate VERY LARGE
- samples, but can't handle it.
-
- The tunes are:
-
- GameMusic/
- Elite Squad
- Felix
- Thrust II /* If it still won't play with, then
- << Rewind it a bit manually ! */
-
-
- * Some tunes go absolutely bananas due to lame ripping, these are:
-
- GameMusic/
- Zorro /* Every time it starts over, it sounds
- worse and WoRsE !!!, I'm sorry ! */
-
-
- * I have offcourse listened to all the music, and here are a few
- unique ones (in my opinion):
-
- DemoMusic/Unknown/
-
- Unknown 5
-
- DemoMusic/Others/
-
- Bended Wave
- Dutch Breeze tunes
-
- DemoMusic/Vibrants
-
- Slimer
-
- DemoMusic/Reyn Ouwehand/
-
- Dutch Breeze tunes
-
- GameMusic/
- MoonShadow
- Eribam
- Storm Warrior
- Rupert and The Toymakers Castle
-
- -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

-
- * MUSIC in general: (a poem?)
-
- Music is a way to contact your inner feelings and express them.
- Or what do you feel ?
-
-
- * C=onverting C64 music:
-
- Even though I have ripped and converted 400-500 songs,
- I still have some left, but not many i regret to say.
-
- Some of my biggest problems are Spy VS Spy 1+2+3 and Ghouls'n Ghosts.
- If anybody out there can be of some assistance I will be very greatfull.
-
- Please remember that !
-
- * If you have some games or demos with music in them, that you would
- like to have converted, or you simply just wan't to support my gigantic
- pile of disks with music, then please send a copy of your C64 disks
- to me right away !!!
-
-
- * MYSELF:

- SYNTHESIZER/MIDI composer.
