- TopScreen: A program for TurboText 2.0 users.
- It lets you pop up a TurboText edit window on your topmost
- screen.
- Does not work for earlier versions of TurboText.
- Version: TopScreen 1.1 (3.12.94)
- Author: Daniel J. Barrett, barrett@cs.umass.edu
- Terms: Public Domain
-
- Requirements: TurboText 2.0 or higher.
- AmigaDOS 2.04 or higher.
- A hotkey program (such as "Yak").
-
-
- Using TopScreen, you can pop up a TurboText editing window on your
- topmost screen whenever you want one. To install it:
-
- (1) Put the TopScreen program somewhere in your command search path.
-
- (2) Using your hotkey program, define a hotkey (say, "ctrl alt t")
- to execute the following command:
-
- TTX PUBSCREEN `TopScreen`
-
- That's it! Now, whenever you press the hotkey sequence, a TTX window will
- pop up on your topmost screen.
-
- Note: if your topmost screen is not a public screen, then TTX can't
- pop up a window on it. In this case, the window will pop up on the Workbench
- screen.
-
- If you desire, you can add more TTX arguments to the command
- in your hotkey program to determine the window size, etc. See the TTX
- documentation.
-
- Have fun!
